How future affiliate links will work
If Animalia joins a retailer’s affiliate program, clearly disclosed links may earn a commission when a reader makes a qualifying purchase. This would not add a charge to the reader. Before activating those links, Animalia will update the affected guides and this page, identify the relationship near the recommendations, and mark affiliate links as sponsored.
How buying guides are prepared
Animalia Editorial selects products through research into manufacturer specifications, retailer availability, and relevant animal-welfare guidance. Guides explain their method and limitations. Unless a guide explicitly identifies real test notes and the person who tested a product, it describes research rather than hands-on testing. Credited stock photographs illustrate the subject and do not establish product ownership or testing.
Products are not included in exchange for paid placement. A recommendation may be unsuitable for a particular animal or household; read the sizing, safety, and “skip it if” guidance before buying. Prices and availability can change. Retailers are responsible for their checkout, delivery, returns, and product information.
